It is widely believed that Tibetan medicine has something magical about it. That is not the case. The film demonstrates that the medicine of the Tibetans is founded to a high degree on wholly scientific processes. The spiritual aspect of it, whereby for example in the case of sickness, doctors recommend the use of certain prayers or rituals (Pudschas), is explained by the fact that most of the patients are Bhuddists, and the doctors are using the power of faith in patients to encourage cures.
